Any excuse for a monkey photo - Harvey with my MacBook
My MacBook, the pretty white thing you see in shops, was an embarrassment. While justifying it's grey grimyness as "it's a work computer, a tool" even I knew it was pretty horrible. I can't help it! I use it while I draw, paint, eat, drink, design, do laundry, and even watching DVDs while in the bath has not been unheard of (with the laptop a long ways from the water, don't worry).
What's a mac-lover to do?
I had read that about the only thing that can actually clean these white casing without damage is the Magic Eraser. Didn't think it was something we had here in the UK. But while waiting for a bus in town I browsed in Robert Dyas and found one! A £4.99 gamble. (you only need a little piece though)
OMG. It works. It's true to its name - MAGIC!
My MacBook is sparkly new and presentable in public once again. :)

Ha Ha! Tina, I know what you mean. This last week,my MacBook Pro Adapter died at the little magnetic pluggy part. My MacBook wouldn't charge up..So I panicked and took it to the sleek local Apple store for a diagnostic.I was so embarrassed taking my silver Macbook covered in paint spots and other studio crud in that majestical placed called the Apple Store. It was a wake up call.. I love it so I will try and keep it cleaner...I will order a protective case..that's all I can do! LOL
This is too funny. Now can you get the orange spots (only small ones honest) off my deep blue Toshiba please?
i love those erasers! can get pretty much anything off of anything :) I can't believe how much they cost here tho, double sometimes triple the price of what they cost in Canada
