Today after doing a few new layers on two Dorset paintings (I seem to have focused on two in particular for now) I grabbed the camera, walked along the river to get some Wavemechanics 365 shots, a stranger took my photo for me, said hello to a dog far more interested in the plastic cup he's found, banked a couple cheques, grabbed a soya latte at Costa Coffee (no extra charge for soy milk like at Starbucks), visited an artist for a chat at Greenwich Printmakers, treated myself to some chips with the change in my pocket (yum!), walked back home in the dark for more river photos, edited a bunch of photos, and made my to-do list for tomorrow.
My local view - as much as I love London, could I really leave it? Some days I want nothing more. Other days I become enamoured again. But I don't want to paint anything but the sea. So I just need to be able to visit the coast whenever I like!

That's my view - but from the other side of the river and minus the foot tunnel thingie!
I do envy you your local walk though!
